Utah Flag of the Fallen
On September 11th, 2019 a singular flag was flown over the Utah State Capitol Building. With the assistance of State Representative Lee Perry this flag was flown in honor of all of Utahs' Fallen First Responders. Through decree by the Governor of the State of Utah this flag was dedicated as the Utah Flag of the Fallen.
The Fallen Hero Network maintains care, custody and control of this flag of honor and at the request of any Fire, Police, Military or Medical agency will transport this flag without cost anywhere in the State of Utah to honor any Fallen First Responder.
Whenever transported this flag is under armed escort. In addition the Utah Highway Patrol has provided invaluable support by escorting this flag and Hero 2 over 3000 miles during the first year of existence.
The flag is available for public, civic, and educational events. We can can work with you to bring the flag to your event and with it, the honor and legacy of those heroes we have lost.
We are protective of this flag, the families it has served, and as a result we are cautious about the types of events and programs the flag may be involved in.
